The Darling Downs School Sport region was established in 1979 to provide quality sport education programs to primary and secondary children and students with disabilities.
Darling Downs School Sport covers the regional council areas of Lockyer, Toowoomba, Southern Downs, Goondiwindi and Western Downs as located in the Darling Downs South West education region. The 39 secondary, 130 primary and 2 special schools (state and non-state) are divided into 3 districts for 13–19 year olds and 9 zones catering for 10–12 year olds.
The regional colours royal blue, red and white have a proven history and reputation which has been achieved through the hard work and dedication of the volunteer staff and the passion displayed by the students.
