Regional trials are conducted in all sports. The regional convenor conducts the trial.
Regional trials are conducted in the following age groups:
- 10–12 year olds
- 13–19 year olds
To nominate for Regional Trials in all age groups, please contact your school Sports Co-ordinator for details.
Teams are selected from the regional trial to represent the Darling Downs region at the respective Queensland School Sport State Championships.

Important notice to all students attending regional trials
Students are required to bring the regional trial permission form (PDF, 549KB) completed and signed to any regional selection trial. No form, no trials.
